ACE Account for Faculty & Staff
Introducing the UNLV ACE account.
What’s so “ace” about it, you ask? For starters, it can be used for multiple systems, which means you have fewer logins to remember. In the case of ACE, less is definitely more.
ACE is currently used to log into Munis, Archibus (Web Central), iLeave, and VPN software. In the future even more systems on campus will use ACE, and you will need to keep track of fewer logins.

What is the ACE account?
On campus, the UNLV ACE account gives you one username and one password to access various UNLV applications, including Munis, Archibus (Web Central), i-Leave, and VPN software. As part of the UNLV Smart Computing project, many departments now also use their ACE accounts as their workstation login.
The ACE account is a centralized authentication method using Active Directory. As more applications start using this account, your usernames and passwords will get consolidated into one. If you need a password reset, it resets for all applications using the ACE account.
How do I get my ACE account?
Once a new employee’s information has been processed in Human Resources, OIT will create the ACE account and send activation information to the e-mail information provided to HR.
New employees have 14 days after receiving this email to activate their accounts. After this period, employees should contact the IT Help Desk for assistance in activating their account.
If you are not a UNLV employee or student but need access to campus resources, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.
Where do I use the ACE account?
All UNLV faculty and staff use the ACE account to access i-Leave, the campus-wide leave tracking software. In addition, all Munis and Archibus users use the ACE account to log in.
If you have requested a VPN connection to access resources from off campus, you will use your ACE account to sign in to the VPN software.
More and more campus applications will start using this login, decreasing the number of usernames and passwords you need to remember.

How do I reset an ACE account password?
If you know your current login details and are currently accessing this web page from on campus, you can click the Change Your ACE Password link above to reset your password.
