Committees

Many committees govern OIT’s decisions and processes. All of them work together with the Information Technology Coordination Committee (the ITCC), chaired by Dr. Lori Temple.

To suggest a new technology project or request a new service for OIT, please submit a proposal to the ITCC.

Academic Affairs iNtegrate Group (AAIG)

In an effort to familiarize these employees with the iNtegrate project, to seek their feedback, and to gain their support for the endeavor, this group was formed late in 2006 and had its inaugural meeting in December.

Course Management System Coordinating Committee (CMSCC)

Coordinates changes and upgrades to the university's course management system, Webcampus, also known as WebCT.

Faculty Technology Advisory Board (FTAB)

Members of the Faculty Technology Advisory Board (FTAB) coordinate campus committees to facilitate identifying, and coordinating practices for the adoption and use of hardware, software and the technology infrastructure to enhance teaching and learning, strengthen the research environment, and improve administrative systems.

Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee (IISSG)

The Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee (IISSG) was initiated in 2004 in order to organize efforts at UNLV related to the selection and implementation of a new administrative system.

Nevada Learning Network (NLN)

The mission of the NLN is to enhance the educational process for all members through collaboration and the effective management and sharing of information technology resources.

Student Technology Advisory Board (STAB)

STAB reviews the student technology fee budget, suggests improvements to campus technology on behalf of the student body and becomes educated on issues related to campus computing.
