Committees > Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee

The Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee (IISSG) was initiated in 2004 in order to organize efforts at UNLV related to the selection and implementation of a new administrative system.

IISSG Function

  • Engage in activities to prepare the campus for the arrival of new administrative systems
  • Collect data about software applications used by various units on campus
  • Identify those applications that might be replaced by or require integration to the new systems

Accomplishments

  • Surveyed applications used by academic units via the Academic Council
  • Surveyed applications used by administrative units via the President’s Cabinet
  • Supported the hiring of a Data Quality Administrator
  • Continued ongoing data cleanup efforts
  • Added representatives from the Graduate College, Dental School, and Law School
  • Endorsed a second RFP process, one that is more decentralized and more campus-centric
  • Several members served on iNtegrate Project Steering Committee and sub-committees, made site visits to campuses using bidders’ products, and attended vendor demonstrations

Agenda Topics

  • Reconstitute committee’s functions as iNtegrate project moves from procurement to implementation
