Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee (IISSG)
The Integrated Information Systems Steering Committee (IISSG) was initiated in 2004 in order to organize efforts at UNLV related to the selection and implementation of a new administrative system.
IISSG Function
- Engage in activities to prepare the campus for the arrival of new administrative systems
- Collect data about software applications used by various units on campus
- Identify those applications that might be replaced by or require integration to the new systems

Accomplishments
- Surveyed applications used by academic units via the Academic Council
- Surveyed applications used by administrative units via the President’s Cabinet
- Supported the hiring of a Data Quality Administrator
- Continued ongoing data cleanup efforts
- Added representatives from the Graduate College, Dental School, and Law School
- Endorsed a second RFP process, one that is more decentralized and more campus-centric
- Several members served on iNtegrate Project Steering Committee and sub-committees, made site visits to campuses using bidders’ products, and attended vendor demonstrations
