Dial-up Internet Account
UNLV Dial-up is a free internet dial-up account for UNLV graduate, law or dental students. This service is being discontinued by the state of Nevada on December 31st, 2009. We suggest you arrange home internest services through a commercial vendor.
Requirements
Only currently enrolled UNLV Graduate, Law, or Dental students may apply for a free Dial-up account. Students will be able to use this account to access the Internet utilizing a modem, phone line, and a web browser.
Installation Instructions
Before installation, contact the Student Help Desk to enable your account. You have two options for Dial-up installation:
- Pick up the software at the Student Help Desk
- Download the file hosted at OIT's software website.
Connecting & Disconnecting Instuctions
Instructions are available as PDF files. A PDF reader must be installed to use these files. Adobe Acrobat Reader is available for free.
