Lotus Notes > Add UNLV Dates to your Calendar

With a few clicks, you can add the observed holidays and academic calendar dates to your Lotus Notes calendar. You may add two different date sets:

UNLV Observed Holidays
These include state and federal holidays such as Memorial Day, Labor Day and Nevada Day.

UNLV Academic Calendar Dates
You may add the new Academic Calendar dates for each new semester as they become available. These dates identify UNLV deadlines regarding registration, documentation, tuition, instruction, applications, recess, grades, etc.

Add UNLV dates to your Lotus Notes calendar by following the instructions below:

1. Open Lotus Notes
2. Click on Calendar view.
3. From the Tools menu, choose Import Holidays.
4. Click the date set(s) you want to import into your Notes calendar.
5. Click OK. These holidays will be added to your Lotus Notes calendar. To delete a holiday, select the holiday in your calendar and choose Edit - Delete.

Web access instructions

1. Log in to Lotus Notes.
2. Open your Calendar.
3. Click Preferences in the upper right hand corner
4. Choose Calendar from the Preference window
5. Click the Import button found under the Import Holidays section
6. Select the date set(s) that you wish to import into your Notes calendar.
7. Click OK. To delete a holiday, select the holiday in your calendar and choose Edit - Delete.
