After two attempts, installed ArcGIS. However, CATINSTALL file from the desktop was not able to be installed. Computer also restarted during the installation of Crystal Reports and Workstation.
Was able to change the hosts filename. However, was unsuccessful at changing the Desktop Administrator settings. Tried to start program, but was not able to find service file in Desktop Management Services list. Was not able to test program at all due to this circumstance.
Uninstall was successful on first attempt, but took longer than usual. Each program took at the very least 30 minutes to uninstall. |

The admin installation from the network would not install. I downloaded the trial version from the Autodesk website and installed the stand-alone client. Installation did not work on the first attempt, froze. I restarted the installation and once it completed successfully it would not run. Vista warning message that the application was not supported, check for updates. None. Manufacturers website does not state whether it currently supports AutoCad on Vista and it does not state if it will support it in future releases. |
