Faculty Websites (faculty.unlv.edu) will be unavailable in the evening of Sept. 6

The Faculty Web Server, faculty.unlv.edu, will be unavailable from 8 - 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 6 in order for OIT to upgrade the WordPress version that supports the Faculty Web Server “ready made” sites. 
 
Site owners will be unable to login or make changes for both “ready made” and DIY sites during this scheduled maintenance window.
  • Visitors may be unable the access websites for brief periods. 
  • After the upgrade, “ready made” site owners may notice slight changes to the look and feel to the WordPress backend, including the dashboard, page editor, etc. 
  • The upgrade could alter the appearance or function of some pages and sites should be checked after the upgrade. Please contact the IT Help Desk if you notice or receive reports of issues. 
These changes are being made as part of ongoing efforts to improve campus computer security.
