Fall 2018 Course Shells Available in WebCampus-Canvas

Fall 2018 courses are now available to all UNLV faculty in WebCampus-Canvas, which all of campus will use in the fall. You can log in with your ACE ID using the Log In To Canvas link on the WebCampus landing page to begin working on your fall courses now.

A full range of resources, including tipsheets, videos, quick guides, and training are currently available on the WebCampus Canvas Help page. Canvas training sessions and open labs are also available. Specific department-level training sessions can also be requested by completing the training request form.

If you need additional assistance with WebCampus (Blackboard or Canvas), please contact us by:

  • WebCampus Help Request Form

  • Email: ithelp [at] unlv [dot] edu

  • Phone: 702-895-0777

  • In Person: SU 231 or CBC B113

  • Open Labs: Every Friday from 9 - 11 am in CBC C145

If you do not see a Fall 2018 class shell when you sign in, it may not have been created in MyUNLV yet or may not have an instructor assigned. Check with your department scheduler if that is the case. Please note that Summer 2018 courses will still be taught in WebCampus-Blackboard unless your college is participating in the Canvas pilot group.

The Office of Information Technology and the Office of Online Education will meet with all campus schools, colleges, and departments in the coming weeks to discuss the transition to Canvas. Look for more information regarding additional transition activities and training opportunities over the coming weeks.
