Between Monday, November 10, 2014, 12:40 PM - 1:09 PM Carlson Education Building (CEB) experienced a building wide power outage.   OIT network equipment was impacted and causing network connectivity to be unreliable during the outage.  

Webcampus notifications not working as expected 10/11 4:04 - 5:32 PM

Between Saturday, October 11, 2014, 4:04 - 5:32 PM the WebCampus global notifications were not working as expected. 

Self Service MyUNLV password reset tool unavailable

On Friday, October 10, 2014, 4:30 PM Client Services reported that the self service password reset tool for MyUNLV is not working properly.  Users will need to contact the help desk (702-895-0777) to have their passwords reset manually.  Administrators are aware and are working to resolve the issue.

WebCampus global notifications not loading 7:55 AM 10/5

On Sunday, October 5, 2014, 7:55 AM Client Services reported WebCampus global notifications are not working as expected. WebCampus users are prompted that notifications exist but the page does not load.

Lotus Notes Rules have been disabled

Data migration from Lotus Notes to UNLVMail began this past weekend. An unexpected issue has required the disabling of some Lotus Notes Rules.

Please do not attempt to change any Rules in Lotus Notes at this time as it could interfere with your account migration.

If you typically forward your mail to other email accounts (e.g., Rebelmail) using Rules and are no longer receiving forwarded mail, please contact the IT Help Desk for assistance.

Wireless Connectivity Issues 8:04 AM 9/24 - 9:22 AM 10/2

On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 8:04 AM the Office of Information Technology received multiple reports of wireless connectivity problems following the recent upgrade to iOS 8 for iPhone.  

On Thursday, October 02, 2014, 9:22 AM the most recent Apple iOS update has resolved wireless connectivity issues.  Update instructions available at Apple Support:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4623

Wi-Fi connectivity slow for iOS 8 users.

The Office of Information Technology is receiving multiple reports of wireless connectivity problems for iPhone users who have upgraded to iOS 8. 
 

Messages sent from UNLVMail delayed 9/23 11:57 AM - 5:00 PM

On Tuesday, September 23, 2014, between 11:57 AM - 5:00 PM, users experienced delays sending and receiving messages in UNLVMail. Email sent between Lotus Notes servers was unaffected.
