Lynda.com is now free for UNLV students and employees. Access new playlists now!

 

Since 2013, UNLV faculty have been able to sharpen their skills and develop new ones with free access to lynda.com’s extensive library of professional video tutorials. Now, UNLV’s students can access lynda.com free of charge as well.

Many services unavailable from 11 p.m. Jan. 9 to 10 a.m. on Jan. 10 for data center maintenance

From 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9 until approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, the Office of Information Technology will replace data center firewall equipment. 
 
During this time, almost all campus services will be inaccessible. MyUNLV, general internet access, and UNLVMail/Rebelmail email will continue to be operational. 
 

Summer 2015 Term Calendar Now Available

The 2015 summer term academic calendar is now available to add to your UNLVMail or Rebelmail accounts.

Deletion of Student and Temporary Employee MyUNLV/HRMS/Financial Data Warehouse Accounts

At the end of the semester, the Office of Information Technology will audit security access to delete student and temporary employee administrative accounts that are no longer in use. 

Check on the status of campus technology services at status.unlv.edu

You can now check the availability of campus technologies, such as WiFi, WebCampus, MyUNLV, and more at status.unlv.edu.

Official UNLV Calendars Now Available for UNLVMail

The UNLV holiday and Spring 2015 academic calendars are now available to add to your UNLVMail calendar.

Note: ccmail.nevada.edu addresses no longer forward to unlv.edu accounts

With the phasing out of Lotus Notes, please note that mail sent to @ccmail.nevada.edu addresses (which were retired fifteen years ago) will not be forwarded to UNLVMail. 
 
If you still use your @ccmail.nevada.edu email address, you should update any accounts or subscriptions to your @unlv.edu address instead.

OIT to Manage Employee Email Addresses in Archibus

Beginning Friday, October 10, the Office of Information Technology will now create and update employee email records Archibus WebCentral
 
If you need to request an update or change to your email address, please contact the IT Help Desk
 
Note: This change does not affect employee email settings in Equus.
