Many services unavailable from 11 p.m. Jan. 9 to 10 a.m. on Jan. 10 for data center maintenance

From 11 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 9 until approximately 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 10, the Office of Information Technology will replace data center firewall equipment. 
During this time, almost all campus services will be inaccessible. MyUNLV, general internet access, and UNLVMail/Rebelmail email will continue to be operational. 

Summer 2015 Term Calendar Now Available

The 2015 summer term academic calendar is now available to add to your UNLVMail or Rebelmail accounts. 

General use computer lab hours for the Thanksgiving break

OIT general use computer labs will be closed Thursday, November 27 and Friday, Nov. 28. TBE-A311 will be open 8 a.m. until midnight on Saturday, Nov. 29 and Sunday, Nov. 30, however all other labs will remain closed.

Wi-Fi connectivity slow for iOS 8 users.

The Office of Information Technology is receiving multiple reports of wireless connectivity problems for iPhone users who have upgraded to iOS 8. 

ACE Account Self-Service Center and Employee Locator will be unavailable 8 a.m. - noon on Friday, September 12

From 8 a.m. until noon on Friday, September 12, we will conduct maintenance on the ACE account database. The following services will be unavailable:

  • ACE Self-Service website (

  • Employee Locator

  • Rebelmail account activation

Data Center maintenance scheduled for 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, September 13.

At 12:01 a.m. until approximately 1 a.m. on Saturday, September 13, we will conduct maintenance to replace a network component in the SCS Data Center.

During the maintenance period, some servers hosted in the data center may be unavailable for up to 10 seconds while backup systems take effect.

If you are unable to reach services during the maintenance window, please wait until after the service period is over and try again. If you continue to experience issues, please contact the IT Help Desk.


WebCampus scheduled maintenance period is 12:01 a.m. to 6 a.m. every Saturday.

The regular WebCampus maintenance period is from 12:01 a.m. until 6 a.m. every Saturday morning. This time period is reserved for necessary updates and system maintenance.

Be sure to save any changes and exit WebCampus before midnight. Please avoid working in WebCampus during the maintenance period as the system may become unavailable at any time.

If WebCampus will be unavailable outside of the maintenance window, we will announce it ahead of time whenever possible.

Network equipment maintenance scheduled for 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, September 6.

At 12:01 a.m. until approximately 2 a.m. on Saturday, September 6, we will conduct maintenance to upgrade DHCP/DNS software. This service assists with directing web traffic to and from campus.

While an outage is not expected, you may notice accessing web pages from on campus is slow or might sometimes fail. Users trying to access services hosted in the data center from off campus may also experience these issues. If you are unable to reach a website, refreshing the page may resolve the issue.

TBE data center router will be restarted at 12:05 a.m. on Saturday, May 3.

From 12:05 a.m. until 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 3, the Office of Information Technology will conduct maintenance on the TBE data center router in order to replace a hardware component.
