The free student versions are 13 month personal licenses along with accompanying tutorials, curriculum and other valuable technical support resources. Other than being restricted for academic use these licenses are identical to the commercial software packages. This software is available to use in selected student computer labs.
Free student versions may be obtained at http://www.autodesk.com/edcommunity A university email address is required for entry to this site.
UNLV Faculty and Staff that wish to have Autocad installed on their university computer can obtain the software for $150. Please complete the Software Request Form below, which is a campus IDR. Print and submit it as per instructions on the form. Upon receipt of the IDR/Software Request Form, a help request will be generated and a technician will contact you to schedule an appointment for installation.
