How to get software:
Faculty and Staff
SAS costs $50.00 for new users. To obtain the installation,complete the Software Request Form, which is an IDR and is provided below. Send the signed document to mail stop 1075 for processing. An OIT technician will then contact you to schedule installation. Processing and installation scheduling can take up to 10 days. The cost includes the license and installation only. User manuals are not included, and some modules may need to be individually purchased directly from the manufacturer.
If you have SAS on your UNLV computer, you may also use the software at home. Carefully read and sign the Home Use Agreement. Complete the SAS Home Use Amendment only if you plan to use SAS at home. The form is available below. If you discontinue employment at UNLV you are responsible for destroying all copies of SAS. Failure to do so is a violation of Federal Copyright laws.
Your SAS license will automatically expire on an annual basis, and must be renewed. You will be required to complete a renewal agreement and install a new license code. Contact the IT Help Desk for annual renewal information.
