UNLV Dial-up is a client software set to connect to the UNLV dial-up Internet system. This service is being discontinued by the state of Nevada on December 31st, 2009. We suggest you arrange for home internet services through a commercial vendor.

This service is being discontinued by the state of Nevada on December 31st, 2009. We suggest you arrange for home internet services through a commercial vendor.

Currently enrolled UNLV graduate students, faculty and staff may apply for free Dial-up access. Users will be able to use this account to access the Internet utilizing a modem, phone line, and a web browser. The help desks can provide users with e-mail, phone, or walk-in support for questions and help regarding this service.

In order to apply for Dial-up access, you must satisfy the following criteria:

  • Be a currently enrolled in any graduate, dental, or law program or faculty and staff at UNLV
  • Have access to a telephone line
  • A modem capable of supporting 9600 baud or higher (v.32, v.34, v.90)
  • Rebelmail e-mail account
