How to get software:
Microsoft Project is available for use in selected student computer labs (see list below).
(STEM Departments Only) MS Project is available for free though the Academic Alliance program (also known as DreamSpark Premium). Qualifying students receive their login information for this website via Rebelmail a couple of weeks after the semester starts. Users who do not receive a login, but qualify for STEM can request for an account through the IT Help Desk. For more information, please go to http://oit.unlv.edu/accounts/academic-alliance.
UNLV has a campus agreement with Microsoft so that any UNLV barcoded computer supported can get a copy of Windows OS and Microsoft Office installed on it for free. Licenses for titles outside of this agreement such as for Visio, Project, and Windows Server can be purchased through our SHI site at a discounted price. The current cost for Microsoft Project are:
(1) institutional license of MS Project Professional = $104.68
(1) institutional license of MS Project Standard = $62.83
