Symantec Endpoint Protection (formerly Symantec Antivirus) provides computer antivirus protection and prevention. This software is recommended and provided by the IT Help Desk.

The IT Help Desk can also provide faculty, staff, and students a free license of Symantec Endpoint Protection to install on a personal machine while they are an active member of the UNLV community.

***Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.6 MP6 is the latest version compatible with OSX Sierra and Windows 10 Anniversary.***

A UNLVMail account is required for faculty and staff to download this software.

UNLV MANAGED (Campus Use - UNLV barcoded computers only)
